A Walking Tour
Cairo Downtown Passageways: Walking Tour publication falls within the context of CLUSTER broader research endeavor exploring the network of downtown Cairo’s passageways. The guidebook explores cultural and entertainment highlights, spaces of memory and heritage sites alongside Downtown’s back alleys.  It offers a glimpse into a larger body of information, a database on Downtown passageways and in-between spaces as an alternative framework for the development and revitalization of Downtown. 

تتيح جولة ممرات وسط البلد بالقاهرة التي يقدمها مختبر عمران القاهرة: كلستر تجربة فريدة لاكتشاف وسط البلد من خلال شبكة الممرات، والفراغات البينية، والحواري الخلفية، والشوارع الجانبية وتمثل تلك الجولة جزءًا من بحثٍ أشملٍ وممتدٍ يهدف إلى تطوير رؤية موازية لتنمية وإعادة إحياء المنطقة

Cairo Downtown Passageways: Walking Tour pocket size design is a modern and easily carried guidebook. 
The book is divided into nine sections. The first part features a set of master key maps highlighting downtown's key points. The following eight sections look into seven chosen downtown blocks featuring various points of interest. The paper used for printing brings out a vintage effect that reflects CairoDowntown’s heritage and authentic feel. A dynamic and attractive visuals were created to encourage users to explore Downtown; by elevating a contemporary take on the design and images by adding touches of colours and filters to engage the users and carefully selecting fonts.
